Just one. One is enough.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">And our usual reaction is then some form of denial.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Usually\u00a0we say &#8220;<em>That is not true, it&#8217;s a fluke!<\/em>&#8221; or we say &#8220;<em>That is OK for you but I could\u00a0never do it<\/em>.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">But\u00a0not always.\u00a0 Sometimes we say\u00a0&#8220;<em>Can you show me another example and show me\u00a0how to do it<\/em>?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">And then we try ourselves &#8230; and then we get another shock.\u00a0 It actually works! We <strong>can<\/strong> do it.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">So now we are engaged &#8230; and when we try again,\u00a0we\u00a0make a right fist of it.\u00a0 Another shock!\u00a0 We need to &#8220;do some&#8221;. Practice makes perfect &#8230; if we do enough of it.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">So we do &#8230; easier examples at \u00a0first then progressively more challenging ones.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">We improve progressively &#8230; we progress &#8230; we develop know how &#8230; we develop competence &#8230; we develop confidence &#8230; and we start to\u00a0grow a reputation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">And soon we are rewarded\u00a0by being\u00a0invited to teach others\u00a0what we know.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">And then we get another shock &#8230; the biggest of all &#8230; we\u00a0no longer know how we are doing it &#8230; we have practiced so much and for so long that it has become second nature.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">This is the toughest stage\u00a0of all and this is where we learn the most.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">When we teach others what\u00a0is second nature to us &#8230;<em> we learn more than they do<\/em>.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">10% of learning is in seeing others do it .<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">20% of learning is\u00a0in doing it ourselves.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">70% of learning is in teaching and coaching others to learn how to do it.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">See One &#8211; Do Some &#8211; Teach Many.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">That is how capability diffuses.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Most of the time we are not aware of what is possible.
